Starting right now, the Themed Thursday Challenge from the Subscriber Area is open to everyone, paid or not.  Please take a look and join it, get some inspiration for scrapping, and share your layouts with others here in the special gallery.

The challenge gives us a list of words to spark our imagination.  Each little word = one layout.  Twenty layouts = 50% off coupon for the store.  And twenty layouts is a nice round number for a memory book.  So let's get busy and scrap.

I thought I would choose one class that everyone, including me, could focus on and do together.  It is more fun when we are doing things together.

I am going to pick up where I left off in making layouts for this challenge and join you.  This is one of my favorite challenges.  I cannot explain the mystery of what happens when you try to scrap being inspired by one word.  I begin thinking of unusual ways to incorporate the theme into my layouts, even if it is with photos I already need to do.  Sometimes I search quotes for the word and that inspires me.  Sometimes I sneak the word into the journaling and then make that one word larger within the journaling to create a title.  I cannot describe the mystery of this inspiration  but only encourage you to try it to know for yourself what one little word can do.

There is no set time that this challenge will be open to the public.  We will "go with the flow" and when this one is put back in the Subscriber Area, another one will go public.

This challenge originated on my blog on Thursdays. However, since it was moved to the forums, although it retains the name, it does not necessarily occur on Thursdays. Share your layouts any day of the week!

The challenges are flexible. Create a layout however that one word inspires you. Think literally or think "outside the box." Just scrap! These challenges are here to encourage and inspire you to JUST SCRAP!
