Survivor: Redemption Island/ Season 22

I'm excited about the possibilities of game change with Redemption Island in the next season of Survivor.

I'm glad it is not all old players with Rob and Russell. This will be interesting to see if they are targets by the new players or if the new players utilize them to go further.



The show is scheduled to premiere on February 16, 2011. This season was filmed near San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua.

There seems to be a lot of contestants from California. I've read before that Survivor often goes out onto the beach and asks people if they are interested in applying, rather than actually going through all of the applications they receive. This makes me wonder if this is true.

Not having locations spread across the country leaves some "rooting" possibilities open. The closest contestant to me is in Nashville, TN.

I usually find myself trying to identify with one of the contestants. I wonder who it will be this time? This tends to be the one I root for to win.

Did you catch the one guy in a suit? What's up with that?
