Social Networking
So, since I deleted all of the good stuff from the sidebar of my blog trying to fix that "operation abort" error over the course of a few days, I decided to just keep things clean and simple while resetting up the blog.
I now have little icons down the sidebar of my blog pointing to most social networking sites that I'm signed up at. Now, please know that some of them I haven't visited in oh, maybe a year! However, now you can find me and link up with me!
I'm really struggling this week. I am finally free of a busy schedule and yet I cannot seem to get moving again. I was all self-psyched to get going and then I had the blog problems which lead to me totally re-doing the blogroll. I was frustrated that things not on my to-do list were getting in my way until I just was no longer psyched. I am one who has to resolve something before I can move on and I just got stuck.
I'm feeling burnt out I think. I so want to provide some good stuff for everyone, but I think I'm going to need your help. I need to be inspired by you so that I can get my drive back up.

7 WARM FUZZIES--comments SO appreciated!:
Ahhh, Hummie! Everybody goes through it. Just take it as affirmation to the fact that you are human! LOL
I'm in the same place you are and looks like many, many others are too. Just do what you can do and it will come to you. :)
Hummie, I know what you mean..... I had issues with my site (mainly user error) and still haven't gotten it set up the way I want..but I just chose not to worry about it and do what I can.
Take a day and do something for yourself... be it sitting infront of the TV watching movies or reading a book. I generally feel much better the next day.
HTH....
Like others have said - you just need to take a break... You had all of that busy-ness last week with getting ready.... and then you got so busy with fixing the blog.... you just need a little down-time....
Don't be so hard on yourself. We are only human! I thought of you when I read the Purpose Driven Life devotional this morning.
Excerpt below.....
"In six days I, the Lord, made the earth, the sky, the seas, and everything in them, but on the seventh day I rested" (Exodus 20:11 TEV).
Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is just go take a nap. That's because when you're physically down, it's hard to be emotionally and spiritually up.
If you're discouraged right now, it might not mean you have to make a change; it may simply be that you need some rest.
Farmers know that soil needs rest, so they rotate their crops and systematically leave a portion of their land fallow. They do this because land that has rested produces a greater harvest.
Resting is spiritual. The Bible says God "enjoys giving rest to those He loves" (Psalm 127:2 MSG).
The Bible also says, "You made my body, Lord; now give me sense to heed Your laws" (Psalm 119:73 LB). What are His laws for the body? Eat right, get your sleep, exercise, and relax.
Rest is so important, in fact, that God put it in the Ten Commandments. In essence, He said, "Every seventh day you are to rest."
Wow! Laura said it so well, didn't she! Actually, God's Word said it so well. Thank you for sharing your humanness with us, Hummie; and thank you to Laura for a reminder that I needed, also!
However, I do think this would be a good day to get started on templates again!
: )
Grrr, it's so hard to face computer problems. Good luck!
