Making Photos Pop #2

Thank you so much for the responses to my recent post encouraging me to go ahead and share how I made my photos from my vacation pop. All the comments and e-mails indicating that you could not tell that I had edited them really made me smile! Wait until you see the before and after in this video! What a huge difference!

If you use these techniques, please do share with them. The best place to share is in the forums where others can learn from your experiences, but private e-mails are always fine too (I just take longer to get to them because there are so many of them!)

Have a wonderful weekend!

WOW, I am so glad I poped into your site today. I'm signing up as a follower and absolutely loved your tutorial on your beach photos. Just makes me want PSE even more. I have Corel and it is not the best. Your video on this was great and I will try some more of your tutorials right away. Thank you. I feel like I'm in a rut and don't know how to do masks and brushes and need to learn so much more.

I guess I never really pay much attention to the differences between PS and Elements. I am still figuring out all my CS4 can do... and am loving it. Great tut - you do know your stuff!!!

I do alot of editing from old photos mostly (the 70's where the colors have been lost... I have one real challenge, and when I am finished, I will pass ot on... assuming I get itcorrected. LOL

Have a great weekend,

eila

Wow, this was really helpful! I've been learning GIMP and PSE 6 mostly through trial and error, and your tutorial showed me a number of things I'd never seen before. Great before and after pictures! Thanks so much for sharing your expertise! :)

Wow - thanks for sharing that - I've been focusing more on scrapping techniques with PSE, and haven't really explored working on my photos with it. This was all great new information for me!
