TumaSoft PreSet Viewer

I received an e-mail from Betsy Tuma with an awesome announcement.

Even with the few bugs I found in the original version of the program, I absolutely love the program and recommend it. I am anxious to see what new features it has!

You can watch a review of the product which I recorded in this thread.

Oh, and a birdie told me the bugs are fixed and to watch for the new version to allow you to right click and select the program you want to open the file in, supports for styles, jpgs & pngs, some photo filters and about a half dozen other things. Are you as excited as I am?

Here's her announcement:

First and most exciting.... Preset Viewer version 2 went into Alpha testing this morning! What does that mean? Well... the new version with a TON of new features will be available VERY soon... probably within 4 weeks. PLUS.... because it's cold and dreary here in Colorado and I need a little pick me up, I've put my ENTIRE store on sale for only $1 each item!!! Plus, spend $15 or more and get an additional 50% discount! You can check out my product line HERE:

Here is a copy of my March 20th post about the Viewer:

The third video is for Tumasoft Preset Viewer. I love this program too! It does so much more than just brushes. It also views swatches, patterns, and shapes. It is the only one in which you can recreate .abr files (libraries) by reorganizing the brushes into new sets. Brushes can even be created with shapes! I found this program very user friendly. It also exports into .png.

I could not get it to install the brushes and swatches with PSE, but I was able to get it to install the patterns and shapes. John will continue to work on these issues. He has lots of upgrades underway for an upgrade version to come out in a few months. You can see my review video here.

I am aware that one concern of designers regarding exporting brushes is their ppi. I did a quick review. I found that neither Tumasoft or ABRViewer exported in 300 ppi, but ABRViewer did have a larger export size when comparing the same file (72 ppi vs. 119.99 ppi).

Of course, I wonder if the original size of the brush has anything to do with how it exports. I would have to make my own set of brushes to compare, but I've had enough work for today!
