Comments by Teenage Sons

While watching Dancing with the Stars, my son was on the computer appearing totally oblivious to the television.

TV: Your feet were going a mile a minute.

Son, out of no where: Isn't that the same as 60 miles per hour.

I cracked up laughing! This is exactly the kind of off-the-wall things he used to say when he was an itty-bitty whipper. He would say words and comments that seemed way behind what someone his age should be able to know or discern. I wish I had written them all down when he was little, but alas, they are all gone.

I do hope digital scrapbookers with young children are taking heed and recording down all those little things your children say now because they will be forever lost.

I have seen some awesome layouts with words children say. Forget trying to make all of your layouts a "wow" layout or "just right" and spend your time getting the good stuff recorded.

Kids are great, I wish I had written down those kinds of things too. I am doing MUCH better writing things down that my GD says and the way she said them. I know now that no you will NOT remember them later like I thought I would with my kiddos!
