Lake Visit

Over the weekend, we had a nice time visiting a lake and staying in a non-fancy cabin. I enjoyed my time wallowing in the water.

I wanted to share with you this amazing site. Butterflies were all gathering around this one very small spot as if eating something from that spot, although we could see nothing there. When we disturbed them, they came right back to that spot.

I also wanted to share with you Candy's layout! I really appreciated her doing the newest challenge so quickly. I just look at this and smile and see all the great things she was able to do with the things I made.

The challenge can be found here.

I put in so many hours the last two weeks into making the kit and the prizes and the challenge and for her to do the challenge meant so much to me.

I feel my time was mostly a waste of time. Once again, many people come to download and very few leave comments and none seem that interested in the challenge.

I am trying to recoup and refocus once again. I need to stop getting distracted by other opportunities and just get back on track in doing what I love to do -- making layouts, looking for new fun techniques and inspiration for layouts, and recording teaching video tutorials.

Everytime I let my focus shift to designing, I struggle and it no longer becomes fun and is no longer rewarding for me. You would think I would learn.

I have so many ideas. I am trying to choose what to do next now.

Hello! I am new to the digi world of scrapbooking and am SO OVERWHELEMED! My husband purchased PE 6.0 for me for Mother's Day and I was so lost, but thanks to your starter tutorial I was able to learn some basics and impress my non-digital family with my first layout! LOL! I have been surfing the net late at night and came upon some other sites - atomic cupcake. I was interested in purchasing some their elements and they referred me to your website to learn how to install them. So, long story short...I just wanted to say that your tutorials are awesome and are teaching people all around world ways to be a digiscrapper without all the FRUSTRATION of not knowing what the heck you are doing!! I have young daughters (ages Ava 3 yrs & Bella 4 months) so I am usually on your site in the wee hours of the morning. I really hope to join your subscriber area soon!! Thanks again for your dedication to teaching and serving others.

Ah, thanks Hummie. Glad I could show my support and give you warm fuzzies! Speaking of warm fuzzies - what an amazing compliment the quote above me is! I am so glad she took the time to let you know how much you are appreciated. Thanks for all you do.
