Blog Carnival

Well, the last volunteer for the blog carnival did not follow through for November 15th and I have been too busy setting up my new place to even think about the carnival. I think it is time we try to get it back off the ground now. There has not been much support of it and I wonder if I should continue it.

If you would like to volunteer for the next one (I will do December 15th, but could use a volunteer for January 1), let me know, otherwise I may just have to collect links and share on my own. The majority of the time it has been things I have found anyway as I cannot seem to get others (accept a few committed individuals) to submit things they see.

Here is a list of things I found in the past or were submitting to the carnival since November 1st. (some may be repeats from the last carnival, but I wanted to make sure nothing was missed.)

These are mostly all older links, but since December 15th is around the corner, I'm going to work on links for it rather than add to this one.

I'll do the January Carnival if you like Hummie. But do you think we would be better to not have one fro January 1 as people will be very distracted over the Christmas season. It might be better to give it a month's break and go to Jan 15.

Also I think we need to get some marketing happening. if all the people who submit articles then also promote the carnival on their blogs, we should get a bigger audience for it. But I don't think that people realise that this is what we need to do as well as submitting articles.

Hmmm... things are going to be a little crazy around my house between now and Jan. 1st, but I'd be willing to host the Jan. 15th carnival :-) Just let me know what i need to do!

I would be willing to host the carnival, Jan 1st is a little soon, especially since I haven't done one, my former partner did, I wrote the article and she posted it for me, and I have helped others, but hosting would be a 1st for me. I would love to be involved, and also think that creating a button or banner, or something to advertised like someone had mentioned above. Email me back, and I would love to help out!
