Long Weekend
I thought I would first share with you a site I found this morning. TextureArchives.com is another resource for digital scrapbooking designing.
I am working hard behind the scenes to find and submit a bunch of great articles for the next Digital Scrapbooking Blog Carnival. Since this will be hosted at the Digital Scrapbooking Day blog in conjunction with our first annual day, I want it to be great. Your help would be appreciated too.
It seems so long since I posted. We had the big band competition this weekend and our band was awarded 2nd place, but it was depressing and it seemed so wrong that there was not more joy.
I was distraught the moment my camera would not come on right before their performance. The biggest performance and I got no photos. I'm afraid to play with it at home. I don't need stress.
I am working hard towards big changes on my website, but running up against a lot of brick walls I have to solve. First, I have to move it to a new host which required me to test and learn website software. I choose a program and I purchased it yesterday and I am continuing to learn it.
There are more big walls to cross in the future.
This is going to be a long process and I hope that I am going in the direction God wants me to go.

Good luck with the redesign of your site - Its such a great site and I love reading!!!
Good luck in your new adventure!
Oh major bummers about your camera! Hopefully someone else got some photos??? Was it a case of feeling like your band really should have been in 1st place? Compititions like that are so hard because it boils down to what a few judges feel. But it is awesome they made it to the compitition and 2nd place is not shabby at all!
Did you say this is one of the last really big competitions? Maybe every is just feeling pressured and burned out. Hard to get excited about a win when you have been run ragged trying to get that win.
In answer to your comment on my blog, I'm about 3 hours north of St Louis. Close enough to pop down for a weekend but not so close that we get much residual badness
