We all just want a little love....

Goodness, did my "things that bug me" post get a lot of hits and attention? Controversial things such as this where people have many different points of view always keep the interest. Of course, it always amazes me that the world is always interested in the more controversial news programs than the ones with good news. We just get sucked into them.

It never ceases to amaze me when I voice my views on a subject that those who see things differently automatically think that I am judging them through my words. They become quickly offended. Those that are offended and have rising adrenaline always have the nerve to speak up. Those who agree rarely speak up. It goes against the very nature of a Christian to be controversial. Something seems wrong with that, but then again not.

I do not stop talking to someone or treat them any differently just because they believe differently than me. Of course, as an extreme example, I'm not going to be found hanging out with drug dealers. So I am careful of the friends I choose, but that does not mean that I won't help anyone. I do not shun people or hold love from people. Jesus died for all people and that is how I look at people. Jesus loves them whether or not they know it.

I have read a lot of comments over the years regarding getting comments on layouts. Some people feel shunned when they do not get any or many comments on a layout posted in a gallery that they worked so hard on. Then there are those people that come back at them making them feel guilty because they were expecting to be loved. There is nothing wrong with wanting a little love. When it comes down to it in life, we are all looking for the same things -- acceptance, love, and to be needed. Why is it so hard to understand that everyone just needs a little love?

Of course, there is one place where we can find a love that transcends all understanding. And in that love, we can find peace.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I encourage you to go out today and find one person to love, weather it be as simple as replying to someone in a gallery that does not get many replies, or a kind comment or gesture toward someone in real life.

I recently had two people just make my day. First, my son, as you can read in my earlier post, who surprised me with a book. Second, I received a private message with a RAK from Darcy, whom I do not even know.

Take a moment now and go make someone's day, regardless of their beliefs.

Here's a layout I made with the RAK.
