Downloading Instructions
If you download digital scrapbooking freebies from my Fotki,
please read these instructions carefully.
Important Downloading Instructions
(Please Read Carefully)
The link will take you to a folder.Click on an element to get an icon.
A) If the file is large, below the icon
you will see a link for "Get Original Uploaded Photo"
1. Right click on the link
and choose "save target as" in IE
or "save link as" in Firefox.
OR
2. Click on the link to get the original larger size,
wait for it to load in your browser, then right click and choose "save picture as."
(Note, although method 1 is quicker, it seems as though because of increased traffic on our downloads, this method is not always downloading a complete file, although it appears to. You may need to use method 2 to ensure a proper download. If you use method 1, you may want to test the downloads in your program.)
B) If the file is small, there is no "Get Original Uploaded Photo,"
and you can download what you see
by right clicking and choosing "save picture as."
Be sure to note that the "save as type box"
in the pop up box has the correct format (.png or .jpg).
A Word of Caution
The png files sometimes look distorted on Fotki thumbnails, but they download beautifully!!!

1 WARM FUZZIES--comments SO appreciated!:
Thsnk so much for sharing your files & tutorials. I am new to digital scrapbooking (haven't done any - YET), but your pages are inspiring. I would love to download some, but one link is asking for a password (http://public.fotki.com/photospot/scrapping_art/older-layouts/). Not a problem if they are out of date, but I love to look!! Thanks again, Sue
