Designer Technique - Terry Maruca

Today I introduce Terry Maruca to our Designer Technique! Her technique is "It's a Wrap!"

I have known Terry for about a year or more when I began communicating with her because I discovered I loved her kit styles. She is always ready to say "yes!" when I ask her for help. I have watched her as she adapts her digital scrapbooking sales to keep ahead of the fast growing market. She continues to amaze me as she continually comes up with new ideas and provides them to the digital scrapbooking community. I am amazed at her skills.

Terry has TEASED US! Isn't she fun? She wants to see comments and then she will send me another tutorial! Comment away!

WAIT!!! There’s more! LOL

As a kit designer, a digi tool creator, and someone with more creative ideas than time, I tend to look at kits and see huge potential to create more with what is included. So, this week, I’d like to teach you a few techniques to make unique elements so you can expand the kits you have purchased.

Technique: It’s a wrap!

We see so many curled ribbons in kits these days. But wouldn’t you just love to wrap those ribbons around something? Here are the instructions for today’s technique.

This is a sample of the finished project.

Let’s wrap ribbon around a frame!

Download the TERRY’S WRAP tech kit to give you to the slide frame and ribbon. And, I’ll teach you how to wrap the ribbon around the frame.

While my instructions are for photoshop, you should be able to translate the concept to your program of choice.

If there is any interest for another technique this week, please leave a comment on the blog. If there is significant interest, I’ll come up with something else to share with you.

Congratulations!!! I hope you enjoyed this technique. If you liked the train elements, you will find my toy train kit for sale on March 4, at SBE.
