I am happy that this tutorial only took me about an hour to write. I need more like this to keep me going.

I remember when I learned this technique back in November of 2005. Goodness, does time fly. I had not seen any directions for this anywhere until angleigh shared with me at ScrapGirls in this thread. However, the text was backwards and I had to play to figure out how to turn it. Once I figured it out, I created a tutorial and put it on my website. (I am just now getting it back up, with graphics this time, on my website). I remember suddenly seeing lots of tutorials for it popping up in various places thereafter. I remember back in 2005 when it seemed as if I would mention something in the yahoo group or post a tutorial and then suddenly I would notice responses. For instance, I remember posting that I would love a dog kit and suddenly, lots of dog kit ads went through p4d. There seemed to be a lot of designers lurking and looking for ideas for inspiration and something new. It seemed many of my ideas were inspiration. It has been a while, though, since I've seen this happen.
As I am reflecting, it seems that this hobby has grown temendously since 2005. It is not the same digiworld I remember. It is much more saturated and most of the "info" and "ideas" are out there. To come up with something unique at this distance into the history of this hobby is something I would suggest is a great honor. For instance, these backside staples are very unique as I've never seen them before. Kudos to Jenn Patrick!
