Always my Baby

I'm a sentimental sap; it's true
My son is 16 years old today and he's his laid back self,
and I'm all sentimental and sappy.

I just want to cry. Tears of feeling blessed, that is.

It is hard for me to believe
that so many years have passed.
Where did my little baby go?
He hasn't gone anywhere.

He will always be Momma's baby
Even when he's old and grey
He will always be my baby
Just as his brothers will be

He is far from a baby now
And more as a young man
He can deny it if he wants to
But he will always be my baby

And no one can claim
that away from me.

Isn't that so true, my son turned 16 in July and is driving and doing his own thing now and I still hang on tightly to his baby days as well as my cuddling, hugging boy that I miss.

Very nice Hummie. Mine just turned 13. I set him up an email account and made his password mommasboy! LOL!

Awww! Great LO! I'm going to cry buckets when my daughter goes to kindergarten in 2 years!! Yes I'm at the other end of the kid age spectrum - LOL!

Very cute. I've still got a while until mine get to that age but independence is already setting in.

This is great Hummie! I always tell my kids and actually sing them a song about how they will always be my baby!
