I am The Great Analyzer

Well, I have been wanting to create a personal blog for some time now. My main problem was deciding where I wanted it to be and having the internet me meet the real me.

I have a spot over at myspace for the real me, but only my young friends are at myspace. I cannot get my old friends to come there. I could have used Yahoo 360, I could have used.....really....I thought about a lot of places for a long time.

So, here I am. Real life friends, please do not leave comments with my real name on them! I feel more secure using my internet nickname.

My internet nickname is Hummie and some day I'll blog about how I got that.

Now, my second dilemma was what to call my blog. Really, I think to much! I've thought about this for a long time.

This morning while lying in bed waking up, it hit me. I am The Great Analyzer. Really. I have to analyzing everything into great detail. I pick everything apart. That's why I've got so many thoughts in my head that I'm anxious to write down on a blog.

So, let's call my blog "Analyzing Life".....but wait...someone else already took that! Well, I'm sure she isn't as great an analyzer as me! lol! I'll have to invite her to my blog, but it says she's currently offline.

Fortunately, I can still call my blog whatever I want, it just won't be in the url. So, to get to my site, my url says lifeanalyzed....and I guess when I'm done with my post I'll change my title to match it because I cannot stand inconsistency. It's part of being The Great Analyzer I guess.

See...I even have to analyze the word "analyzing."

It means "To examine methodically by separating into parts and studying their interrelations"....yep...that would be me! Trust me, my husband would agree. I break everything I do down into a method. I think that is what gives me my gift of teaching. And yes, I separate into parts and study the interrelations of things....just like I've just now separated apart this definition into parts to discuss it. Sigh. Yep. I'm The Great Analyzer.

And since I analyze everything, let's move onto the Thesaurus.

allegory, analogizing, analogy, analyzing, association, balancing, bringing together, collating, collation, comparability, connection, contrast, contrasting, correlation, corresponding, discrimination, estimation, example, exemplification, identification, illustration, juxtaposition, likeness, likening, measuring, metaphor, observation, opposition, paralleling, ratio, relating, relation, resemblance, segregation, separation, similarity, testing

Oh...I see the word allegory. I always wondered what that really means. He says that a lot on the television show Numbers. You know what? Maybe that's why I like that show so much--because he spends the whole show analyzing things.

Analogy is another great word that I use a lot. I see so many analogies in life. In fact, I started writing a garden book with the analogies I see in nature. You can see it here. I have so many of these I want to digiscrap, but no time. That's okay, time will eventually come.

Well, I'm wanting to analyze the rest of the words there. I could babble on so much, but I have time constraints. Yeah, it's that thing called "work" that gets in the way of life.

You know, us analyzers just love dictionary.com. I use it all the time to pick things apart.

So I will end this now. I'm thankful to have a place to babble. Hopefully, people will enjoy reading my babblings and learn more about my heart and the things I think.

But, I think too much.
